Helmsley Castle

These are photos of the Helmsley castle, located in town of Helmsley North Yorkshire. This medieval castle was built in the early 12Th century, constructed in wood around 1120 then was converted into stones in 1186.

The most impressive features of Helmsley castle are its large earthworks with two deep ditches that are cut down through the outcrop of rock on which the castle stands, shown on the last picture.

This is the castle tower, or should i say whats left of it.

Inside the castle, there are artifacts preserve and displayed.
