Termites Scare

As a person who grows up in a tropical country, I am very familiar with termites and what it does to a building. My parents house have these little pests around and it is very frustrating that when they get into the house they eat almost everything from papers, clothes and floor rugs. They usually starts on the wooden structure of the house, then in days they would make a little mud tunnel on the side of the wall connecting from one wooden structure to another. My parents had replaced window frames and door a couple of times and tried to buy bits and pieces that would help prevent termites but it still keeps coming back. After years of battling over this problem my father got so frustrated so he hired a professional pest controller and so far that is the best thing he has done to solve the problem. The pest controller found the source where the termites live, it was on the wall outside back garden where there is this big mound of dried soil, I think it was called a termite mound. Anyway, after destroying the mound the problem has so far stop. I know that having this problem is very frustrating but there are things you can do to stop this kind of problem, you can either do it yourself or hire a professional. I suggest that you do a little bit of research on the internet as they got some ways that are less costly and more effective.
