Keeping toddler's busy is hard while you are doing house chores, but I have here some ideas you can try to keep your child busy. Graduates of educational leadership programs know how important it is for parents to interact with their children. The best thing to do is to get him or her involved in what you are doing, this way it would also help your toddler play and learn with you. Things like:
• When you are washing up the dishes, make her/him stand up next to you and wash saucepan lids. When you are doing this with your child, just be careful and make sure there is no sharp object on the sink that could harm her.
• When cooking, make sure that she/he can see you and talk to you as you cook.
• Buy a little vacuum cleaner so she/he can do a little pretend cleaning, while you are doing the real thing.
These are just a few examples but I am sure you will find more things you can do with your child. The important thing is that you are making it fun and interesting for your child and you get things done too.
