It Is Important to Read the Full Contract before Signing

Whether as a business or an individual, it is easy to skip over contracts and just sign on the bottom line. However, it is important to read the full contract before signing it unless you already know what is in it. Too often, there are cases in court that seem ridiculous and obvious that one party should get their money back, but there was some odd clause in the contract that protects the other party. When signing a contract, it is important to know what you are signing and agreeing to do. Also as important in the contract is to know what the other party will do per the contract.

If It Sounds Too Good to Be True…

You know the saying that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is? This especially holds true when dealing with contracts. If something sounds too good to be true and then you are asked to enter into a contract with your signature, that should be a red flag to you. It is especially important in cases like that to read a contract before signing.

Never Sign without Having a Copy

When entering a contract, it is crucial to keep a copy on hand. It is best to request a copy of the original that you signed. Having a copy will allow you to review the contract without the pressure of being in an office where everyone is waiting on you. In most states, there is a legal time limit in which a contract can be voided without penalty. Having a copy of the contract allows you to read the contract again and make sure that you are okay with the contract you have signed.

Don’t Hesitate to Ask to Alter a Contract

If you are okay with most of the terms after you have read the full contract, but have some minor changes that you would like to make, don’t hesitate to ask to have it amended. In many cases, the changes you desire can be accommodated without causing any heartache to the other party, while bringing peace of mind to you.

Allergic conjunctivitis

This is not something I like but this is what I suffer from! I got hay fever and aside from the usual symptoms of sneezing, runny or blocked nose. I also suffer from allergic conjunctivitis which means I usually get very itchy and watery eyes due to dust and pollen's from grass, tree, and weed!

The pollen symptoms based on what I have observed usually occur during springtime, early summer and in late autumn.  Now in the past 2 weeks, I have this very bad allergic conjunctivitis, which cause my eyes to itch and seems watery most of the time. In severe cases (due to wind, dust and pollen) my eyes would turn red!

Anyway if you got the same symptoms, I have here some remedy tips for allergic conjunctivitis.

1.       Take an antihistamine
2.       keep your eyes clean

You can keep your eyes clean with cotton wool and clean boiled water. All you have to do is soak the cotton wool into cooled boiled water, remove the excess water and gently clean away the discharge on the eyelids and eye lashes, if there are any. Hope this helps!

Hotels, Resorts, and Restaurant's Supplies

For anyone who is into hotel, restaurant, bar or catering business, there is an easier way of getting all supplies without driving to shops or browsing search engines for a particular item. Now you can save time and money by getting all your hotel supplies in one online shop. This Hotel Supply Online is called Peach Suite and I actually think they got it all!

To make this clear, I am not into hotel business now, but have worked in a hotel before and I do know what sort of things are needed in a hotel or even a restaurant. This website was referred by a friend  and to be honest, I cannot think of anything negative about the website! Plain simple but does have a wide range of categories listed from hotel furniture’s and appliances for kitchen, dining, bedroom, bathroom/ restroom, to outdoor. There is a wide range of concessions, storage and toiletries available too! Plus it is so easy to find a specific thing, as the webpage has its very own search engine and you can just type a specific item you want and get results in a flash! And as of prices, I think they are very reasonable.

You are welcome to check them out by clicking the above link. Hope this helps!

NZ Home loans, recruitment agency and video production

On this blog post there are about 3 topics and all from New Zealand! Please be aware that I am compensated for this post, so all the content on this particular blog post is based on instructions given by the sponsor but ideas and opinion are my own.

My first post might be of interest for people living in New Zealand who are planning of getting a mortgage. We all know that due to the global economic and collapse of the property/housing market, it is now difficult to get a mortgage, but never lose hope as there are still some companies out there that does offer a good chance for people to get a mortgages like this viventium home loan, have actually read their website and their offers really look promising! Cannot tell you a lot about it but they do offer refinance, investments property, first time home buyer and many more and you are welcome to check it out yourself.

The second post does not have nothing  to do with the above post, but still in NZ! This one is for people looking for jobs in NZ as well as Employers recruiting for jobs in New Zealand. These are called recruitment agencies and actually the new trend now! AS far as I know, this is now the easiest way for employer and applicants to meet, all you have to do is register to some recruitment Agencies online and you will get emails of jobs that match your job description, as well as your resume will be viewable to employers.

My 3rd post is about video production company in NZ! Now there are many similar video production companies in your area as well as around the globe but this one I am posting with the given link is located in NZ. Anyway, you might want to take a look at Video Production Auckland rates and services as it is really competitive!

Love my boots

On the photo is my latest boots from Dr. Martens and I really love it! One of Dr Martens Triumph boots and I think the only suede ladies boot I have seen from Dr Martens. I had it for about 3 months now, use it on daily basis on walks to school and the boots still looks like new! Very durable like all Dr. Martens shoes and boots but what I love about this boots aside from the lovely style is that it is not as stiff as the ordinary leather Dr Martens boots!

This Aimee boot is really stylish; it has 9 eyelets, can be worn up or down by folding the sides and buckling it on the back showing the vibrant floral print lining which I think is very striking yet feminine! It also comes with two lace styles, one of which is a brown ribbon and another one an ordinary brown shoelace.  I have not use the ordinary brown shoe lace yet, as I really love the ribbon on the boots! In fact I made 2 more ribbon shoe laces using satin ribbons and a plastic straw as an aglet.

 Black laces
Blue laces

My shoe laces are not perfect but I still love my boots!

Leaking Bath DIY Plumbing

My husband and I recently had a problem with leaking water from our bath and manage to fix it using DIY technique! But first, I would like to inform you that my husband had an experience with plumbing before so this problem it not really new to him! I know that leaking water from a bath is a frustrating problem, so on this blog post I would like to tell you some ways to stop a leaking bath.

Things to do:

The first thing I would advise you to do is to do a proper visual with your bathtub, that means you have to look for cracks on the bath, check the tiles and silicon the seals on the bathtub. The next thing you have to look through is the drain; you can do this by taking the drain off using a metal knob tool. Once the metal drain is off, inspect for damages! If there is no damage on the drain, check if the plumbers putty (the sealant on the drain) is still on. If not, place new plumbers putty around the drain and place it back in the bath and make sure that it is tight.

Checking time:

After checking the pipes and sealing the drain, cover the drain or hit the stopper and fill the tub with water. Then check for water leaks! Now if you won’t see any leaks, that means you have solved the leak problem!

If it is still leaking:

If you can still see water leaking from the bath, and still want to fix it using DIY, you can open the side of the bath using an appropriate tool (like a screwdriver) to unscrew the side panel of the bath off. Then check the plastic pipes underneath. In our case, the plastic tube underneath the drain has started to deteriorate and needed a replacement. If you got the same problem, all you have to do is buy a replacement tube from any DIY shop and replace the old one underneath the bath. What I have noticed is that most of the plastic pipes are threaded so it is easy to connect from one pipe to another. After that, check again for water leaks!
If water is still leaking from the bath, you may trace up the pipes by opening the floor board and check for holes or broken pipes.
If the problem is with crack tiles, the best thing to do is to re-tile it, otherwise you can seal it with a sealant.

Good Luck!

Sakura 12v Car Power Inverter

This Sakura converts the 12V in-car power source into a 240V household socket and is suitable for any electrical appliance up to 80W. Multi-angle head and adjustable size 12V plug for optimum versatility, has a
LED power indicator and a built-in fuse for additional safety. I got this Sakura power inverter for about a year now and probably only used it 3x. It does work, but only plug it in if your car is on, because it will drain the battery of your car quickly when you plug it in without starting your car.

Product description from the manufacturer:
Use your electrical appliances on the go thanks to the Sakura 12V Power Inverter. Simply plug the Sakura 12V Power Inverter into your 12V car cigarette lighter socket to convert your vehicle's battery power to 240V mains.

It negates need for separate costly in-car chargers for electrical products but allowing you to charge and use them using their normal everyday mains adapter. It is a simple device with a multi-angle head that plugs into the cars 12V socket & provides you with a 3 pin household socket allowing you charge any device up to 80W including laptops, PDA, game console, mobile phones, MP3 players and even TVs.

Domains promo codes new fish logo

Has anybody seen the Domain Promo Codes new logo? Well if you haven’t, it it's now changed into a fish logo and I think, this is far better than the old logo! The old logo by the way is just pale green with white text, which is not very noticeable in my personal view, so having this big eye fish splashing is a massive change to catch everyone’s attention. Also I have noticed that the website color is a lot brighter than before! As of what I can remember the old color is very pale, I think it is also a very light green and white, which I think is a little dull!

I also think there are more vouchers given away now than before and more and more popular registrars giving massive discounts over domaining, renewals and hosting’s. In fact I have just visited the website and I found these vouchers. You can use any of these voucher codes that I have posted but if you want more, feel free to visit Domains Promo Codes website!

Steam Mop

I recently bought a steam mop (Holme brand) that says it does carpet as well as tiles, laminate, and vinyl flooring. I think I have already tried it 3 times and I it does a great job in cleaning and freshening the carpet! But as far as getting rid of stains; I would say you still need some stain cleaning stuff to get rid of the stains on carpets. Have tried this steam mop on dried paint stain on our living room carpet and it did not clear the stain! Instead, I have managed to get rid of the stain by cleaning using a damp dish cloth and a washing powder. Overall, this steam mop it is not bad for the price, so if you just want to buy to try it out, I would recommend this make!

Black Stainless Steel Fryer

I got this over a year ago on a free voucher I got from eBay, this is a Morphy Richards black professional stainless steel fryer. The fryer looks stylish and durable, it has 2.6 liter capacity cooking oil and you can cook up to 700g of food at once! It features a removable control panel, lid (must be off when cooking) and tank which can easily be washed. It also features a variable thermostat which ranges from 160 to 190 degrees, and the fryer can easily be adjusted to the correct temperature via the control panel. It is a knob where you can just twist to get the desired temperature.

The fryer is over all is great, it came with a basket with a detachable handle, non-slip feet and a cooking/instruction manual. It also has some pictures of food on the setting of fryer itself, although I think it is much better to follow the food packaging instructions. For frying chips/French fries it is best to set it at 120-130c. I have also written a blog about it, you can see it on my archive tittle Cooking Chips on deep fryer dated February 1, 2013.

Rosetta Translation and Interpreting Services

When it comes to professional translation service, there is one name that stands out amongst the rest, and that is Rosetta translation agency. Renowned for its high standards, efficiency and value for money, this London based translation company has been the top choice of major companies across the UK when it comes to document translation, transcription, subtitling and many more. They got branches from different areas of the world too, located in Shanghai, New York, Paris and Luxembourg. A friend of mine even told me that they are the cheapest in Europe!

Rosetta translation agency also offers interpreting service which I think is very useful for international business meetings, court appeals or media translation purposes which are offered by Rosetta’s to worldwide clients. They can do this in many ways, like through simultaneous interpreting, whispered simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting, liaison interpreting, and the most common one which is through telephone interpreting. These of course are offered on competitive rates! Now I am not really sure the exact prices for these but like I said a friend of mine told me that they are the cheapest in Europe. I think if you are going to visit Rosetta Translations website you can get a free quote there by just filling out the details or email, or by phone using the given contact numbers. Sending an email is actually alright as my friend did this and got a quick reply. Hope this helps!

Cooking Chips on deep fryer

I know that you already know how to rinse and cut the potatoes, so once you got this ready and your fryer ready too. Here is the procedure:

1. Prepare your fryer, take off the lid and fill it up with oil according to the manufacturers’ standard.
2. Start it up on 120c, wait until the oil is ready hot (refer to your fryers manual)
3. Once the oil is ready, put your sliced potatoes on the fryer basket and dip it in the oil.
4. Check if the potatoes are cooked through but not brown, you will notice that some potatoes are floating on the oil, not soaked on the bottom. This means it is cooked but still soft.
5. Lift the fryer basket, turn the fryer off and Leave it to cool down.
6. Once it has cool down, reheat the fryer to 130c and wait until it is ready hot.
7. Dip the fryer basket back and cook the chips until slightly brown.
8. Lift the basket, drain the excess oil and tip the basket with chips into a dish and serve!

If you do not have a deep fryer, you can also use a cooking pan, heat the oil and cook the chips on a medium setting. Leave to cool and cook it again until it turns slightly brown. But always remember, when cooking your chips, whether using a fryer or a cooking pan, never leave it unattended!
